Due to the high demand for this service within this industry we have Bariatric vehicles avaliable to transfer patients up to 60 stone (381kg) in weight.

Our Vehicles carry specialist equipment including:

• Bariatric Stair Climber
• Bariatric Evacuation Mat
• Bariatric Wheelchair
• Bariatric Stretcher

We can also arrange for hoisting equipment to be used to support the movement of the patient.

All Batritric staff hold a current enhanced CRB.

All Bariatric staff follow mandatory training as listed below:

• HSE Approved Emergency First Aid at Work
• Infection Control
• Patient Handling
• AED training
• Oxygen therapy training
• Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults & Children
• MiDAS (Driver training)
• Customer service Training
• Health & Safety Awareness
• Fire Safety Training

All Bariatric crews are additionally trained to the following levels:
