Praise for Staff
At PAS we love to hear feedback from people on how found our service, whether it is an area we may need to look at improving, or appraisal for what we or our hard working staff are doing right. We were delighted to receive this recent appraisal for Manager, Danny Deacon. It's great to be able to give our staff the recognition they deserve, especially so when they go above and beyond for their patients. We encourage all of our staff to treat their patients as though they would treat their own family and are delighted when we receive feedback that reinforces that they do just that.

"I am writing in my role as Lead of the End of Life Care group in LNWHT. I have heard a heart-warming story about a driver working for your organisation that went the extra mile in order to help a dying woman see her usually house-bound sister for the last time.
Danny Deacon was taking a patient by stretcher to an out-patient appointment at Central Middlesex hospital and found out that her sister, with whom she has lived for many years, was days away from death in Northwick Park hospital. After her out-patient appointment, Danny took the her to Northwick Park hospital where she was able to say her last goodbyes to her sister, before he took her home.
This is a fantastic example of compassionate care that we would like to encourage across the Trust."
